Visiting and second-home owners in Coos Bay
The Census counts "seasonal, recreational or occasional-use" homes separately from year-round homes. In the 2020-2024 estimates they are 1.1% of housing units in Coos Bay and 2.4% in North Bend. Those are low shares compared with many smaller Oregon coast towns, so most homes in the two cities are lived in year-round. The estimates carry a margin of error.
